As Director, Treasury and Risk Accounting, Erecka Gibson is responsible for the management of the university’s internal debt.
Erecka is a Finance and Accounting professional with 30 years’ experience in non-profit, corporate, government, and higher education industries. Her experience includes Debt Management, Budget Development and Management, Business Consulting, and Financial Reporting and Analysis.
She joined GW in 2005. Prior to GW, she worked at IBM Business Consulting Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, and Sallie Mae. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Maryland and earned her B.S. in Accounting from Towson University.
