Leslie Zito

Leslie is an experienced Finance and Accounting professional with over 16 years of experience in accounting and reporting.  She joined GW in 2012 as the Manager, Audit & Compliance.   

Prior to GW, Leslie was in public accounting, specializing in audits of not-for-profit organizations.  She holds a B.S. in Accounting from West Virginia University.  Leslie is a Certified Research Administrator.  

As the Director, Accounting & External Reporting, Leslie leads the team that is responsible for the university’s external surveys and filings, chart of accounts maintenance, preparation of fringe benefit rate calculations, annual review of audit internal control narratives, preparation of other reports for the audited financial statements, and oversees related party transactions.
