Neena Ali

Neena brings extensive experience to the role. A finance professional with more than 25 years of accounting and reporting experience, Neena joined GW in 2013 as Assistant Controller after working for many years in the financial industry in Northern Virginia. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Virginia, and earned a B.S. degree with a concentration in accounting from George Mason University. 

As Associate Vice President & University Controller, Neena leads a team responsible for the university’s accounting records, external financial reporting and analysis, tax, grants contracts accounting, student accounts, financial components of the ongoing integration with the GW Medical Faculty Associates, system analytics, and maintaining a strong system of internal controls over financial data and assets.
