Bruno Fernandes

As Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Bruno Fernandes is responsible for the management of the university’s financial resources.

Bruno is an accomplished finance executive with two decades of experience, including in financial operations management and planning, treasury operations, and asset management and capital structure.  He also has experience in multiple industries, from corporations to government and nonprofits.  In his previous role as Treasurer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer for the District of Columbia, he implemented a comprehensive finance strategic plan and treasury management system, and modernized processes.  He is a long-time resident of the DMV, and he received his B.S. in Finance from George Mason University and M.B.A. from the University of Maryland.
